Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Engineer II to solve complex problems in materials engineering in our Magnolia, Texas office. The role emphasizes independent skill development and advancing proficiency within the engineering specialty while applying fundamental concepts to diverse, complex tasks.

The position is on-site in Magnolia with a full-time, permanent status. Candidate should have 2+ years in Materials Engineering, with a BA/BS or MS and PE designation, and experience with FTIR, TGA, DSC, SEM.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Materials Engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Engineering with PE designation.
• Experience with lab equipment such as FTIR, TGA, DSC, SEM.
• Interest or experience in non-metallic materials.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication; customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates.
• Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan.
• Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts to finalize for client delivery.
• Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies and stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
