Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking an MEP Project Manager to join our Redmond, OR team, leading projects in a fast-paced environment. You will guide engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to meet milestones while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, budget oversight, client communication, and hands-on design knowledge in HVAC and plumbing systems. A four-year engineering degree and 5–10 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems design.
• Experience managing subcontractors.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient with CAD, ERP, and MS Office.
• Ability to lead small teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• May manage a team or serve as a project lead.
• Generally manages smaller projects or a portion of a larger, complex project.
• Develops client relationships by providing project status updates to client and leadership.
• Manages budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for project.
• Participates in project meetings with internal departments.
• Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of project is on schedule.
