Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school is required.
• Unencumbered Florida or Compact State RN license.
• Minimum four years of clinical RN experience.
• Experience in clinical instruction, preceptorship, or staff development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing students during clinical rotations in medical-surgical and other adult acute-care hospital units.
• Provide on-site oversight of students during patient care, documentation, and communication with the care team.
• Demonstrate and teach best practices in medical-surgical nursing, including assessment, care planning, medications, education, infection prevention, and discharge planning.
• Help students develop clinical judgment, time-management, delegation, critical thinking, and escalation of concerns.
• Ensure compliance with clinical-site policies, patient-safety standards, confidentiality, and documentation requirements.
