Job summary

Concept Billing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to support accurate, timely pharmacy and healthcare billing at our Pottsville, PA site. You will help manage claims, research discrepancies, and coordinate with insurance providers and internal teams to resolve billing issues. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential, with benefits including medical insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical or pharmacy billing and claims processing.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work with multiple computer systems; Excel a plus.
• Familiarity with PCC is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit billing claims accurately and on time.
• Maintain complete and accurate billing and insurance records.
• Review rejected or denied claims, investigate discrepancies, and assist with corrections, appeals, and resubmissions.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and reimbursement issues with payers.
• Verify insurance information and coordinate with pharmacy, census, and prior authorization teams as needed.
• Track open issues and document follow-up activity through resolution.
