Job summary

Prosano Health Solutions, in partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, seeks a Medical Assistant to provide direct patient care and support the care team in a fast-paced clinic setting.

This full-time, on-site role requires a high school diploma, MA certification, AZ fingerprint clearance, and BLS. At least 1 year in a medical office is preferred, with duties covering vitals, room prep, records, and provider assistance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a medical office.
• High school diploma or GED; completion of medical assistant program.
• Active Arizona fingerprint clearance card required.
• Medical assistant certification or enrollment within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong rapport with patients and deliver an exceptional care experience.
• Prepare patients for visits by communicating details, taking vitals, and updating records.
• Prepare equipment and exam rooms; ensure cleanliness of instruments.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment with proper sterilization.
• Assist providers with treatments, procedures, and diagnostics.
• Manage inventory of supplies and stock exam rooms.
