Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to manage patient flow and assist providers in the clinic. The role emphasizes teamwork with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and healthcare providers to meet patient care goals.

Candidates may have completed a Medical Assistant program or an RMA program with on-the-job training, plus BLS certification. The position is onsite, with day shifts and full‑time hours and benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with on-the-job experience and training OR
• Graduate of an RMA program with on-the-job experience and training and passing the RMA certification exam.
• Six months of MA experience within the North Memorial Health system.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of computer software applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in patient care and manage patient flow in the clinic.
• Collaborate with Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager and Providers to meet goals.
• Communicate with health care team regarding progress, concerns or problems.

Education
