Eisner Health in Lynwood, CA is hiring a Medical Assistant for a 100% on-site, Monday–Friday role. The MA will provide back-office support to family practice providers, document data in the EHR, and support patient-centered care in a fast-paced community health setting.

The ideal candidate has MA training, strong communication, and a commitment to culturally responsive care. Bilingual skills are a plus; CPR certification is required or pending. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to hire.
• At least one year of outpatient Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Experience in family practice, primary care, or a similar outpatient setting is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient-service skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and patient-centered care.

Aufgaben

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
• Accurately document patient information in the EHR and ensure chart completeness.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and management of conditions.
• Administer medications, injections, and routine immunizations per orders and policies.
• Perform medication reconciliation and communicate discrepancies to the provider.
• Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Conduct routine clinical screenings and preventive assessments.
• Obtain patient consents and ensure documentation is complete.
• Coordinate referrals, scheduling, orders, and lab services.
