Job summary

WorldClinic, Inc. is hiring a Health & Wellness Specialist (On-Site EMT/Medic) for Kings County, TX. You will support safety and well-being of workers through injury prevention, on-site medical support, and coordination with clinical teams.

You will operate independently in the field with clinical backup, document care in the EHR, and participate in safety orientations and trainings. The role requires 3–4 years in emergency or occupational medicine and active BLS/CPR/First Aid credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS, CPR, and First Aid certifications required; EMT/NREMT preferred.
• 3–4 years in emergency, occupational, military medicine, or similar field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to walk the jobsite for up to 5 hours daily; may lift 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, administer first aid, and provide guided treatment under provider direction.
• Support comprehensive case management through patient follow-ups, referrals, and ongoing care coordination.
• Foster strong relationships with patients, on-site staff, and healthcare providers for optimal care and communication.
• Serve as a resource for psychosocial support, applying a peer support model to assist site personnel.
• Lead proactive injury prevention initiatives, including stretching programs and ergonomic coaching.
• Document patient interactions and care in the EHR system.
• Keep on-site medical facility clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Collaborate with jobsite safety teams through orientations and trainings.
