Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT seeks a Project Material Management Analyst to coordinate planning and control activities for a technical manufacturing program. The role focuses on master scheduling, capacity planning, and detailed requirements planning to meet schedules.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3–5 years in production planning, and solid knowledge of MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience.
• 3 to 5 years of related production planning experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, procurement and materials planning.
• Experience with MRP systems and manufacturing processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing and other groups to develop, maintain and monitor schedules.
• Analyze material management problems to meet schedules.
• Provide scheduling input for engineering changes to meet requirements.
• Balance inventory to demand and maintain lead times.
• Release purchase requisitions based on JIT while meeting program cost objectives.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and production floor to optimize flow.
• Attend program status reviews and planning meetings.
