Job summary

Mullins is seeking a Construction Site Material Manager to oversee procurement, delivery, storage, and distribution of materials on active mechanical construction sites. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of material management or logistics experience in commercial/industrial mechanical construction.
• Familiarity with HVAC, piping, plumbing, or industrial mechanical systems.
• Experience using construction management or inventory tracking software (Procore, Viewpoint, CMiC, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage material handling and logistics for commercial mechanical projects.
• Coordinate material deliveries with project timelines and sequences.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality.
• Oversee rental equipment and maintain organized laydown/stores.
• Track usage, backorders, returns, and surplus items in project systems.
• Forecast upcoming material needs with foremen to prevent shortages.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of mechanical components; log tools/rigging.
