Job summary

Fathom in Round Rock, TX seeks a Material Management Specialist to join our on-site team, focusing on quotations, product information, order processing, RMAs and delivery, and purchase orders while collaborating closely with the Key Account team.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years in Planning, Scheduling, or Project management within manufacturing, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and proficiency with MS Office; APICS or Global Shop experience is a plus, enabling strong inventory control

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Purchasing and Planning transactions.
• 3-5 years in Planning, Scheduling, or Project management within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to generate reports.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Global Shop experience preferred.
• Experience in high mix / low volume manufacturing.
• Analytical and system proficiency.
• Strong communication and leadership across levels.

Responsibilities

• Create and organize a bin system; monitor stock levels.
• Track and maintain inventory accounting.
• Purchase parts and deliver to the customer.
• Fill customer Kanban bins at customer location.
• Identify new parts or projects to supply with the customer.
• Report weekly on operational performance and project status.
• Build relationships from shop floor to executive leadership.
• Process in MRP to ship, invoice, and manage on-hand inventory.
