Job summary

CACI International Inc in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Material Handler to join a growing logistics team. You will support daily supply chain functions, move materials, manage inventory, and assist with production orders on site.

The role requires US citizenship, the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance, a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in a warehouse environment, and a valid driver's license. Forklift experience and Costpoint knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required due to contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance due to the nature of the work and contract requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.
• Manually move, monitor, and issue materials through picking/pulling items to fill pick lists and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production/Material Planners.
• Responsible for the storage, distribution, inventory management, and records maintenance of material items.
• Perform required cycle counts of material and maintain records as required to monitor and support inventory accuracy.
• Read and follow work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain material items to be moved.
• Load, unload, and move materials within or near warehouse, stockroom, storage facility, or manufacturing floor.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Provide materials to and from inventory location or worksites to designated areas including the manufacturing floor using hand truck, electric dolly, forklift, or another tool.
• Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP system.
• Support/completion of monthly, quarterly, yearly inventory audits.
• Able to lift 50 pounds, use a rolling ladder up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelves.
• Able to spend considerable time standing, bending, and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas/buildings.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask daily workload.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
