  • Record materials moved in ERP and assist with inventories and audits.

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Material Handler for our Melbourne, FL office. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team, responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.
  • Primarily responsible for the manual movement, monitoring, and issuing of materials through picking / pulling items to fill pick lists and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production / Material Planners.
  • Additionally responsible for the storage, distribution, inventory management, and records maintenance of material items
  • Perform required cycle counts of material and maintain records as required to monitor and support inventory accuracy.
  • Read and follow work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain material items to be moved
  • Load, unload, and move materials within or near warehouse, stockroom, storage facility, or manufacturing floor.
  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
  • Provide materials to and from inventory location or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, Forklift, or another tool
  • Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP system
  • Support / complete monthly, quarterly, yearly inventory audits
  • Able to lift 50 pounds, use rolling ladder going up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelves
  • Able to spend considerable time standing, bending, and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildings
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask daily workload
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Qualifications:
Required:

  • Forklift/reach truck experience
  • 5 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor
  • Active SECRET security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience using Costpoint
  • Class A CDL
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask daily work
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
