Job summary

Dayton Superior's White Cap division is seeking a forklift operator to move pallets and materials through the production flow in a manufacturing setting. You will load/unload, ensure raw materials reach operators, and help assemble bundles while complying with safety practices.

Requires a HS Diploma or GED and 2–5 years of experience; must be trained and qualified forklift operator. This on-site role involves physical exertion, lifting heavy loads, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Must be a trained and qualified forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets and containers from machines following work orders or verbal instructions.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Move material from storage or work sites to designated areas to ensure operators have materials to operate equipment.
• Stack and assemble materials into bundles and band them.
• Remove empty pallets from equipment; perform duties of Shipper/Receiver as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
