Job summary

Dayton Superior, through White Cap, seeks a skilled forklift operator for on-site duties in California. You will move materials through manufacturing and production, load/unload, stock management, and ensure operators have raw materials to operate equipment.

Strong safety awareness and ability to follow directions are essential. Requires a HS Diploma or GED with 2–5 years of experience; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Must be a trained and qualified Forklift Operator.

Responsibilities

• Move pallets and containers from machines based on work orders or verbal instructions.
• Load and unload materials onto/off pallets, trays, racks or shelves by hand.
• Move materials from storage or work sites to designated areas to ensure materials for operation are available.
• Stack and bundle materials and band bundles.
• Remove empty pallets from equipment.
• Perform duties of Shipper/Receiver as assigned and other duties as needed.
