Job summary

Taco, Inc. in Fall River, MA, is seeking a Material Handler for our on-site 1st shift. You will receive, store, and maintain records on component parts, counting and shelving materials, and ensuring accurate material flow to production.

You’ll operate tablets and scanners, use forklifts and other equipment, perform cycle counts, and maintain safety and clean work areas. Full-time, competitive pay and benefits apply in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Over 1 year up to and including 3 years' experience.
• Experience with material handling equipment and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Select and maintain location of raw materials; open crates with crowbar; break down crates for disposal.
• Pick parts from preprinted pick lists; contact planner or supervisor if shortage.
• Deliver components to production; monitor material request queue.
• Operate tablet, computer, scanner and material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain clean, safe work area.
