Job summary

Piping Technology & Products, a Houston-based manufacturer of engineered piping supports, is seeking a Safety Technician to support the Safety Department on the shop floor. You will inspect operations, enforce safety policies, and assist in investigations, training, and recordkeeping.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years in safety in manufacturing, and NCCER/OSHA credentials. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• NCCER Construction Site Safety Technician credential.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training.
• Working knowledge of general health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine shop floor inspections and safety audits to identify unsafe conditions and at-risk behaviors.
• Monitor activities for compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations and document findings.
• Maintain safety records, inspection logs, and training documentation.
• Lead safety training sessions and toolbox talks; reinforce proper PPE use.
