Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC in Grayling, MI is seeking a Project Manager to lead and coordinate customer-focused projects on-site at the Grayling facility.

You will oversee scope, schedules, budgets and risks; lead project meetings; provide timely status updates to customers and internal stakeholders; and ensure delivery on time and within quality expectations. Experience in fast-paced manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project management, account management, customer-facing operations, or equivalent.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments, preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or certification in engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
• Mechanical aptitude and solid math skills.
• Exceptional client interaction skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive relationships, even when delivering difficult updates.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key team member to ensure customer project deadlines are achieved.
• Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and maintain clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project management tools to track the status of a high volume of projects.
• Monitor project costs, track change orders, and proactively resolve issues.
• Escalate issues professionally and facilitate timely resolutions to ensure project success.
• Support equipment tryouts, runoffs, and project closeout activities.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsiveness, accountability, and execution excellence.
