Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Nanuet, NY to lead sourcing of raw materials, packaging, MRO and services for a manufacturing environment.

In this role you will manage purchasing, maintain inventory, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with Operations, Warehouse and Finance to ensure on-time production and cost savings.

Candidates should have 5+ years of procurement experience, advanced Excel skills, and ERP experience (Dynamics AX preferred).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (Dynamics AX preferred).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing, inventory levels, and material availability based on forecasts and production requirements.
• Source raw materials, packaging, MRO, operating supplies, and services.
• Build supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and resolve supply issues.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify cost savings and process improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Finance teams.
• Maintain procurement data, contracts, pricing, and purchasing activity within the ERP system.
• Support inventory control, cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
