Torani (R. Torre & Co.) in San Leandro, CA is seeking an Engineering Intern to support our Flavor Factory innovations and efficiency projects. You’ll work hands-on with Engineering, Maintenance, and Manufacturing teams on cross-functional initiatives that improve safety, quality, and productivity.

You’ll learn about lean manufacturing, capital project lifecycle, TPM, and data-driven process improvements while contributing to real-world startup activities and documentation, drawings, and TOPs.

Formación

• Recently completed B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and sustainability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams on projects to improve safety and productivity.
• Assist capital project execution from concept to commissioning for process, packaging, and infrastructure initiatives.
• Document equipment performance, PM programs, and line layouts with engineers and maintenance teams.
• Assist with data collection and analysis to improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on reducing downtime, improving quality, and enhancing safety.
• Create or update engineering drawings, work instructions, and Torani Operating Procedures (TOPs).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring ideas from concept to reality.
• Support East Coast facility design and startup with early layout studies, process mapping, and equipment specs.
