Job summary

Wieland Manufacturing Engineer in Verona, VA, on-site, designs and optimizes production equipment to improve efficiency and quality. You will create and maintain detailed work instructions, lead equipment installation and troubleshooting, and provide hands-on production floor support to keep downtime minimal.

The role requires 2-4 years of related experience, a Mechanical/Mechatronics degree, and proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics or related field is preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment design and maintenance is expected.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills are required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify production equipment, tools, and layouts to improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead the design, installation and troubleshooting of equipment to enhance quality and throughput.
• Provide hands-on support to the production floor to minimize downtime.
