Job summary

Avesta Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain and improve the physical operations of our properties in New Hampshire. This hands-on role involves routine, emergency, and preventative repairs, maintaining buildings and grounds, and collaborating with property management to meet Avesta’s safety and comfort standards.

This full-time, hourly, non-exempt position offers on-site work at properties in Hampton Falls and Exeter, NH, with an hourly wage of $22.00–$25.00 and overtime

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and grow in a mission-based environment.
• General apartment and building repairs knowledge or ability to learn basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and light carpentry.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, emergency, and preventative repairs to buildings and grounds.
• Maintain digital records of completed work orders via company app on a company-issued phone.
• Respond to resident needs and support property management to keep homes safe and well-maintained.
