GCI Residential is seeking an On-Site Maintenance Technician for Settler’s Landing in Streetsboro, OH. You will be the hands-on problem-solver ensuring a safe, well-maintained community and preparing homes for new residents.

This role offers an on-site living arrangement with a paid CFC certification class to help you grow your skills and career. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in multifamily maintenance and strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, building exteriors, and HVAC.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to exceptional service and resident relationships.
• Ability to stay organized, self-motivated, and thorough.
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to live on-site in the provided 2-bedroom apartment.

Responsibilities

• Keep the community clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
• Diagnose and resolve a wide range of maintenance requests with speed and professionalism.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and exteriors.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify issues before they escalate.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep operations running smoothly.
• Build positive relationships with residents to deliver exceptional service.
