Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Substitution of experience for education may apply in lieu of formal education.
• Preferred experience: distribution or mail handling in a large organization or mail house (approx. 4 years).

Responsibilities

• Executes scheduled and on-demand pickups and deliveries across assigned routes with motorized vehicles.
• Serves as main contact for customers regarding delivery status and issues.
• Reviews and validates routing data to ensure efficient delivery and updates routes as needed.
• Organizes mail and packages by department and delivery route for efficient distribution.
• Documents receipt and delivery of accountable mail with tracking systems and photos when required.
• Performs routine vehicle and equipment inspections and reports issues promptly.
• Identifies suspicious or hazardous items and follows safety protocols.
• Loads and manages parcel lockers and escalates technical problems to maintain service continuity.
