Job summary

H.B. Fuller in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Machine Operator on-site for 1st shift (6:30a-3:00p). You will prepare raw materials, operate processing equipment, monitor run rates and help ensure product quality in accordance with our procedures.

You will label packaging, assist with testing and release of products, and maintain housekeeping in the work area. No prior experience required; basic English and MS Office knowledge are sufficient to start.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic English and ability to read work orders and procedures.
• Willingness to work on 1st shift and in a production environment.
• Some understanding of safety rules and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw materials and packaging; transport to production areas.
• Operate processing equipment according to instructions.
• Monitor equipment to maintain run rates.
• Complete initial testing and release of products per specs.
• Check labels and packaging materials for correct labeling.
• Package final products per instructions; maintain area cleanliness.
• Perform housekeeping and assist supervisor with duties.
