Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work on-site under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves providing patient care and supporting planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes, in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and MH policies.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited LPN program, holds current licensure in Illinois, and maintains BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Successful graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current Illinois LPN licensure (as applicable).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of patients and communicate effectively with the team.
• Adhere to Illinois Nurse Practice Act and Memorial Health policies.
• Position and transfer adult patients; perform IV/IM injections as needed.
