Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring an Occupational Health Specialist (Part Time, LPN) to serve as the first point of care for employees, delivering on-site medical attention and health assessments. The role is based mainly at the on-site nurse’s station with mobility to respond to incidents on the production floor, including night shifts.

You will conduct health screenings (drug/alcohol tests, spirometry, audiometry), maintain OSHA/state records, and support wellness initiatives while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse license (LPN).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
• 1+ years nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site medical care within nursing scope and protocols.
• Respond promptly to workplace and general health issues.
• Perform health screenings (drug/alcohol tests, spirometry, and audiometry).
• Maintain accurate health records for OSHA and state compliance.
• Ensure confidentiality in all health matters.
• Support safety and ergonomic initiatives.
• Assist with wellness programs and employee health education.
• Help manage and document workers’ compensation cases.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the health and safety team.
