Job summary

Primary Care Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide a friendly, confidential environment for Veterans, in a telehealth and back-office setting. The role is full-time, on site, Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with patient interviews, vital signs, medical histories, and administering medications under supervision.

Requirements include a valid LPN license, completion of a certificate program, and BLS certification. New grads are welcome; MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited certificate program in practical nursing.
• Current and active state nursing license (LPN).
• One year of clinical operations experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information in the electronic medical record.
• Obtain medical histories and verify patient information.
• Prepare, assist, and complete forms related to care.
• Administer medications and operate diagnostic equipment.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments.
• Take vital signs and perform ancillary tests as appropriate.
• Collect lab specimens and submit results to providers.
• Answer patient calls, messages, and alerts.
