Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Maintenance Helper to support mechanics at our Phoenix facility. This on-site, full-time role requires assisting with repairs, preventive maintenance, and parts runs, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Applicants must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license and a willingness to learn to operate the listed equipment. The schedule may include weekends and overtime, and training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read/interpret documents.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to continue education as necessary.
• Strong time management skills.
• Able to operate listed equipment: hand truck, pallet jack, power lift (training provided).
• Able to present information one-on-one or in small groups.
• Prioritize/multi-task while delivering accurate, on-time results.
• Willing to work various shifts including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Review repair log and prepares jobs.
• Assist mechanics with repairs to equipment.
• Conduct parts runs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
