Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant for an on-site role in a Dallas-area community. The position reports to the Property Manager and focuses on greeting prospects, identifying housing needs, and presenting the property to secure leases.

Responsibilities include processing applications, coordinating with resident relations, and supporting daily administrative tasks. The role requires weekend/holiday availability and a strong commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leasing or sales experience in multifamily housing preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, ADA, and leasing compliance (or training within 90 days).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems (Yardi or OneSite) preferred.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to work weekends and occasional holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, qualify needs, and guide tours of available apartments.
• Present features and benefits, including floor plans, amenities, and neighborhood offerings.
• Process applications and leasing documents per guidelines.
• Maintain market knowledge and contribute marketing ideas to the Property Manager.
• Perform outreach marketing and participate in events.
• Promote outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents.
• Assist with resident communications, lease renewals, notices to vacate, and satisfaction efforts.
• Respond to resident inquiries and service requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Support community retention initiatives and foster a welcoming environment.
• Accurately complete lease files, guest cards, verifications, and follow-ups.
• Collect rent payments and issue receipts when requested.
• Maintain organized leasing files, daily traffic logs, and leasing reports.
• Document all interactions using proper logging procedures.
• Assist with property inspections and report needs to the Property Manager.
• Support the Property Manager and Assistant Manager with daily tasks and reporting.
