Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an experienced technical leader for the Photolithography Scanner team. You will coordinate ASML and internal resources, troubleshoot complex tool issues, and drive 24x7 operational support to sustain high yields in a fast-paced fab environment.

With 9+ years of scanner ownership and deep photolithography knowledge, you will influence maintenance strategies and tool performance, reporting metrics to improve overall production stability on site in Austin.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of semiconductor scanner equipment ownership.
• In-depth experience with ASML, Canon or Nikon equipment.
• Strong understanding of wafer processing and photolithography fundamentals.
• Able to make technically sound decisions and arguments.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily tactical meetings with ASML and internal teams on photolithography scanner equipment.
• Participate in weekly cross-functional meetings to discuss metrics and improvement plans.
• Coordinate internal, external, and vendor resources for optimal manufacturing support.
• Lead tool recovery efforts and perform complex maintenance activities.
• Investigate and provide solutions for equipment-related defects and yields.
• Analyze tool performance data and report on uptime, MTTR, MTBF and trends.
• Prioritize work aligned with department priorities to meet production goals.
