Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Scanner/Equipment Engineer to install and qualify ASML scanner systems and assist with transfer of next-generation technology and recipes. You will coordinate internal and vendor resources, investigate defects, and drive maintenance and yield improvements.

The role requires 2+ years of scanner ownership, a related college degree, and the ability to travel internationally. It is an on-site, full-time position with a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• 4 years of college in related field.
• Requires 2+ years of semiconductor Scanner/Stepper equipment ownership.
• Understanding of semiconductor wafer processing fundamentals and photolithography.

Responsibilities

• ASML Scanner and auxiliary equipment installation, including hardware and product qualification.
• Next generation technology node transfer including recipes, SOPs, BKMs.
• Attending and contributing in daily tactical meetings with ASML and internal teams about photolithography scanner equipment.
• Coordinate Samsung internal, external and multiple vendor resources to provide optimum manufacturing support on assigned equipment.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and provide technical solutions to equipment related defect, quality and yield problems.
