Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Lead Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support the ISSM in developing and overseeing cybersecurity for F-35 systems at Truax Field in Madison, WI. The role is 100% on-site at a customer facility.

The ISSO will lead on-site cybersecurity activities, policies, and incident response, ensuring compliance, risk management, and readiness for inspections while coordinating with stakeholders and the broader security program.

Qualifications

• Final Transferable Secret security clearance (last reinvestigation within 5 years) or enrollment in Continuous Vetting program.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP access.
• Expertise in cybersecurity with a track record of leading technical teams on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary on-site cybersecurity representative in stakeholder meetings and communications.
• Drive development and review of cybersecurity policies, plans and procedures for the ISSM.
• Lead implementation and assessment of security controls per system authorization.
• Conduct self-inspections and ensure readiness for customer inspections.
• Coordinate incident response, documentation, investigation and closure of cyber incidents.
