Job summary

Lockheed Martin, Rotary & Mission Systems F-35 Cyber Security, is seeking a cybersecurity leader to act as primary on-site ISSM liaison, drive policy development, and lead ISSO teams. You will coordinate incident response, monitor risks, and ensure readiness for inspections while translating complex cybersecurity concepts for stakeholders.

The role requires a transferable security clearance, DoD cyber workforce experience, and strong communication skills within a fast-paced government-focused

Qualifications

• Must have final transferable Secret clearance or higher.
• Ability to obtain SAP access.
• Experience leading technical cybersecurity teams on complex projects.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into operational language.
• Certifications meeting DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA SEC+).
• Experience in a cyber workforce role as per NICE/DoD frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary representative for on-site cybersecurity team; act in stakeholder meetings.
• Drive development/review of cybersecurity policies, plans, and procedures.
• Lead ISSO teams and assume ISSO responsibilities when needed.
• Oversee implementation/assessment of security controls per authorization body of evidence.
• Lead self-inspections and ensure readiness for customer inspections.
• Coordinate incident response and ensure proper documentation and remediation.
• Monitor for non-compliance and report risks.
• Ensure POA&Ms or remediation plans are in place for identified vulnerabilities.
• Create/retain data to meet reporting requirements.
• Monitor and correlate data to identify threats and non-compliance.
