Job summary

CW Resources, Inc. is seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager for on-site support of commercial landscaping projects in Columbia, SC. This hands-on role focuses on assisting Project Managers and Crew Leaders, coordinating field operations, and ensuring safety and quality on every job.

You will train with crews, manage on-site scheduling, track materials, document daily progress, and help enforce OSHA and company safety standards while maintaining CW’s values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certificate required.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial landscaping, grounds management, or landscape construction.
• 1+ years of landscaping crew lead experience.
• Basic understanding of horticulture, turf care, irrigation systems, and landscape construction techniques.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and landscape‑specific safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Support daily commercial landscaping operations and assist Project Managers and Crew Leaders.
• Help schedule, track materials, and document daily progress while staying in the field.
• Participate in routine inspections to verify quality and contract compliance.
• Help operate, maintain, and troubleshoot landscaping equipment ensuring safe use.
• Help enforce OSHA regulations, PPE requirements, and environmental standards on-site.
