Job summary

PHNX Materials is seeking an entry-level Lab Technician for our demonstration plant. You’ll own sample collection and analysis, including preparing solid and liquid samples, running analyses, and maintaining detailed records in a hands-on environment.

Ideal candidate has a B.S. in chemistry or related field (or equivalent lab experience) and 0–2 years of lab work. Training provided; on-site role at our manufacturing plant in the U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in chemistry or related field or equivalent hands-on lab experience.
• 0–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Attention to detail and disciplined record-keeping.
• Comfort with acids and lab chemicals with PPE.
• Willingness to learn multiple instruments and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and prepare samples for analysis.
• Analyze samples using lab equipment and prep.
• Perform wet bench chemistry and solutions prep.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks and enter data.
• Keep lab spaces organized and follow safety protocols.
