Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Job Coach - PRN to join the Farmington Career Center team. The role provides on-site support to individuals with disabilities to help them maintain employment and thrive in their roles.

This position is scheduled on an as-needed basis with mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays possible. Benefits and a mission-driven work environment are available through the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and experience working in social services required.
• Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred.
• First Aid and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with participants to meet employer expectations regarding task completion and speed.
• Continue to provide training to improve participant work performance after employer's training period has ended.
• Solves problems to create accommodations or other ways to address performance issues.
• Supports participants to develop and maintain relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
• Develops and maintains natural supports on the job and establishes working relationships with supervisors.
• Implements fading/re-entry techniques to ensure participant success.
• Maintains contact with the participant's Case Manager to report progress and difficulties.
• Completes agency documentation including daily observations and hourly logs; for Summer Work Experience, timesheets and weekly evaluations.
• Uses site time to complete necessary documentation, aiming for at least 80% billable hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
