Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland in Muscatine, IA is seeking a Part-Time Job Coach to assist individuals with barriers to independence in community employment. You will support clients, train, supervise, and model work procedures, and help participants set goals and complete tasks in real-world settings.

The schedule includes evenings and weekends with travel between sites. A high school diploma is required, six months of related experience, a reliable vehicle, and clean background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six months of related experience (e.g., customer service, clerical, etc.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for clients, with opportunities to train, supervise, and model work procedures.
• Assist participants in developing goals and implementing tasks in community jobs.
• Adapt training strategies to fit changing environments and participant needs day-to-day.
• May provide transportation to program participants.
