Job summary

ABM Industries in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Field Supervisor - Janitorial to oversee cleaning staff on a designated account and shift. The role involves patrolling terminals and ramps, ensuring productivity and customer service standards, and managing training and daily reporting.

The 1st shift runs 6:30am–2:30pm. Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, quality checks, equipment and supply coordination, and collaboration with Account Managers to maintain staffing levels.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Janitorial Supervisor experience is preferred and required.
• Proven ability to manage a large team and/or staff.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the training of the cleaning team.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
• Report work orders for maintenance.
• Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
• Maintain daily shift report for managers.
