Job summary

Luna Innovations Incorporated in California seeks a Site IT System Administrator to own the on-site IT operations for the Chino facility. You will oversee local network and server infrastructure, manufacturing and warehouse systems, and asset management, while coordinating with global IT on standards and projects.

You will provide end-user support, maintain documentation, and ensure business continuity. Three days per week on-site presence is required, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in an IT support or site IT role in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• Hands-on with Windows client OS and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Active Directory administration including user/group management.
• Familiar with DNS, DHCP, file/print services, VPN.
• Exposure to Windows Server administration and virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and IT assets, with documentation discipline.
• Clear written and verbal English communication; able to work on-site in Chino, CA at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day health and performance of Chino's local IT infrastructure and networks.
• Coordinate outages, maintenance windows, and infrastructure projects on site.
• Escalate to global IT when needed and manage end-to-end escalation.
• Support manufacturing/warehouse tech, ERP/MRP, and shop-floor devices.
• Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle, including procurement and retirement.
• Administer AD/Entra IDs, Windows Server, and M365/Azure services with standard controls.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint security for the site.
• Collaborate with Luna's global IT to standardize tooling and processes.
