Job summary
The Talent Mine is seeking an IT Operations Team Lead for an immediate role near the Huntington, WV area. This is an on-site position with 5 days/week, and some travel is required.
You will lead both Infrastructure and Application Support Analyst teams, working with the IT Manager and local leadership to meet IT needs and accelerate the AI/automation roadmap. The ideal candidate will mentor peers, oversee projects within budget, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate challenges
Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure and application support/management.
- Experience with project management and multiple projects.
- Strong leadership, flexible, self-directed.
- Ability to enforce safety policies and housekeeping.
- Supervisor/manager recommendations required.
Responsibilities
- Lead Infrastructure and Application Support teams with IT Manager.
- Mentor peers and manage cross-functional projects.
- Oversee modernization and AI/automation initiatives.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers.
- Manage VMware, Azure, storage and networks.
- Handle Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SharePoint.
- Lead disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Work in Agile project management and contractor oversight.
- Perform SQL and Oracle DB management.
- On-site rotation for evenings/weekends.
