Job summary

Invocon, Inc. is seeking an IT Security & Compliance Specialist to own the security, compliance, and infrastructure posture for federal contract work. The role focuses on safeguarding controlled information under NIST 800-171/CMMC while administering identity systems and servers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4–6 years IT experience including security/compliance work
• Experience implementing NIST 800-171 and/or CMMC controls
• Ability to work independently within a small team
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, and Linux administration
• Experience with firewalls, SIEM, and endpoint security platforms

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and audit security controls to satisfy NIST 800-171 and CMMC; support ISO 27001 alignment
• Develop, document, and enforce IT cybersecurity policies and data protection procedures
• Configure and monitor security tooling: firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, log monitoring
• Perform continuous monitoring, incident detection/response, remediation of security events
• Maintain and audit secure information systems; produce compliance evidence for assessments
• Position is ON SITE, not remote
