Job summary

American Crane & Equipment Corporation seeks an IT Project Manager to build project delivery discipline from the ground up, working on-site in Douglassville, PA. You will manage end‑to‑end technology initiatives and perform hands‑on technical work with the IT team.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to translate business needs into structured, trackable projects and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
• PMI-ACP or PMP certification preferred.
• Hands-on IT, systems administration, or technical delivery experience — this role both manages and performs project work.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or complex operational environments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end management of technology initiatives from initiation through close — scope, schedule, budget tracking, resource coordination, and delivery confirmation.
• Run structured project kickoffs so all stakeholders have clarity on objectives, roles, timelines, and success criteria.
• Proactively identify and communicate project risks, scope changes, and resource constraints; surface issues to the IT Manager before they become problems.
• Directly perform technical project tasks within the role's capability — configuration, account and endpoint provisioning, scripting, data preparation, and tool or integration setup.
