Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Staff Auditor to execute internal audit activities under the direction of the lead auditor and audit manager. You will help plan projects, develop risk-based audit programs, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations across the bank’s lines of business.

Responsibilities include identifying gaps, informing solutions to minimize losses, and serving as a liaison between the business and defense lines while performing control testing and documenting work per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than two years of applicable experience.
• Thorough knowledge of laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact the assigned line of business.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal audit activities at direction of lead auditor and/or audit manager.
• Identify gaps and inform solutions that minimize losses from inadequate processes or controls.
• Serve as liaison between Line of Business and Lines of Defense.
• Identify controls, perform control testing and document work per internal audit policies.
