Job summary

Pharmaron Beijing Co. Ltd. in Coventry, RI is seeking an Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Technician to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations on-site.

You will maintain, calibrate and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation and automation systems in a highly regulated environment. Key requirements include a RI Journeyman Electrician License, strong PLC/DCS/DeltaV knowledge, and experience with CMMS (SAP/Maximo/Oracle).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced technical training preferred in electrical, instrumentation or controls.
• RI State Journeyman's electrician license required.
• 10 years industrial experience desired; trades/apprentice route acceptable.
• Ability to read P&IDs and loop diagrams; test PLC code.

Responsibilities

• PM execution in a regulated cGMP environment.
• Calibrate process instruments using automated calibration systems (Beamex preferred).
• Work with PLCs, DCS, BMS, DeltaV and Allen-Bradley control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, switchgear, VFDs, UPS and generators.
• Document PM activities in CMMS such as SAP/Maximo/Oracle.
• On-call ICE technician rotation for one week; respond to plant issues.
• Manage workload to complete calibrations and tasks on time.
