Job summary

International Paper in Lebanon, IN seeks an in-plant ink technician to support customer ink needs on site. The role covers ink manufacturing, color matching, and press-related technical assistance to ensure print quality and efficiency at the Lebanon facility.

Responsibilities include inventory management, report filing, and participation in production and customer meetings. Two years in flexographic inks and knowledge of ink optimization are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• At least two years experience with flexographic printing inks preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with ink color matching and press side troubleshooting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Color matches and re-matches.
• Manufacture ink batches for print jobs.
• Press side technical assistance (toning colors, adjusting ink to improve print quality).
• Maintain customer ink inventory; re-work old ink.
• File ink usage reports and other required reports.
• Attend production and customer meetings as required.
• Provide ink training and cost-reduction recommendations as needed.
