Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy seeks an Injury Prevention Specialist/Certified Athletic Trainer in Saginaw, MI. You will develop on-site injury prevention programs for employees and collaborate with a network of ATI resources to implement health strategies.

The role emphasizes clinical expertise, education, and program development in a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and leadership within ATI Worksite Solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training required or preferred
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as appropriate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and AED certification required
• BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC preferred

Responsibilities

• Interface with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create individualized improvement plans.
• Observe body mechanics and assess risk to develop mitigation plans.
• Perform and document employee treatments in the workplace with coaching for improvement.
• Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules related to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7).
• Address discomfort through education and job-specific coaching to prevent injuries.
• Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations.
• Identify and provide health education and training on wellness and disease prevention.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's in Athletic Training

Associate degree in PTA with licensure

Bachelor's in Exercise Science/Athletic Training/Kinesiology/Allied Health

2 years experience in a Military healthcare setting
