Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance.
• Understand, read and write Standard English and perform shop math calculations.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and schematics.
• Use scales, vernier calipers, micrometers, and other gauges.
• Operate mobile equipment, power shears, benders, grinders, powered hand and machine tools and related equipment.
• Perform arc and acetylene welding.
• Identify components in manufacturers’ maintenance and parts manuals.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Install and/or maintain varied types of machinery and other equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctions by observing and testing operation.
• Disassemble and repair worn components, reassemble and test.
• Fabricate sheet metal covers, guards, stands, platforms, etc.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Check fluids before operating machinery and equipment.
• Record repair times and maintenance notes in the CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
