Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks Electrical Helpers for a project in Wilmington, NC. Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months.

The position involves assisting in electrical installations, cable routing, testing, and equipment setup, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to procedures. On-site work with potential for growth within SIC’s electrical team.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills required.
• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Identify tools required for tasks and gather them before starting.
• Assist in cutting, bending, and routing conduit per blueprints.
• Assist in installing and fabricating cable tray as specified.
• Assist in pulling cable through pathways and conduits.
• Assist in wiring terminations to electrical equipment and panels.
• Assist in testing components for proper voltage readings and continuity.
• Inspect equipment and components for hazards and safe operation.
• Set up and maintain temporary power systems and grounding.
