Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks Electrical Helpers for a project in York, SC. This on-site role involves basic electrical work, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety standards on industrial sites in the Southeast.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, wear PPE, and travel as needed. The job emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to SIC safety and quality procedures to support our facilities and construction crews.

Qualifications

• Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
• Prepare layout using voltage tester, wire strippers, level, pipe benders etc.
• Terminate panels utilizing LOTO.
• Plan installation sequence to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers.
• Run cable tray, pull wires and bend conduits.
• Understand motor controls and metering.
• Calculate loads for single and three-phase circuits.
• Follow plans and blueprints; work overhead and in restricted spaces.
• Maintain safety and respond to dangerous conditions.
